1. The Ideal Candidate must have a minimum of 3500 flying hours with valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), Multi Engine and Instrument Rating. He/ She must have minimum 1000 hours and endorsement as a Pilot in Command on equipment with a minimum of 20 tons with demonstrated good performance.
2. ICAO English Proficiency level 4 or above.
3. Valid Class one medical certificate.

5. Dash 8-300 or Dash 8-400 aircraft type rating.

1. Command the aircraft with utmost regard for safety and comfort of passengers at all times.
2. Coordinating and managing the flight crew, including the co-pilot and other crew members to ensure maintenance of high standard of discipline, appearance, uniformity and promptness.
3. Ensure commercial aspects of their flights are achieved and whenever safety is not impaired, to obtain additional revenue load for the Company.
4. Ascertain that they are briefed of Flight Plans, NOTAM, Fleet Notices, Weather and any pertinent documentation and service items that their flight may require.
5. Conducting pre and post flight checks in accordance with company and TCAA guidelines and procedures
6. Verify and ensure that loading of the aircraft has been performed in accordance with laid down procedures and regulations.
7. Monitor the aircraft’s performance and handle navigation, communication with air traffic control, as well as adherence to flight time limits in line with applicable guidelines and regulations.
8. Report all incidents and accidents in accordance with applicable company and TCAA regulations.
9. Verify and ensure that all documents/certificates required to be on board the aircraft are available and valid.
10. Report any flight delays as per company procedures and guidelines.
11. Accept and sign for diplomatic mail, precious cargo and supervise their stowage aboard the aircraft and handover to destinations.
12. Perform any other official duties as may be assigned by your supervisor
