We are now looking for an experienced and driven Flight Operations Engineering Manager to lead one of the most central functions in our flight operations. You bring leadership experience, ideally from the aviation industry, and thrive in a dynamic environment where development and structure go hand in hand. This is a key role for someone ready to lead both people and processes with confidence.

Your Role

As Flight Operations Engineering Manager at Braathens, you will play a key role in both strategic and operational decisions related to our flight operations. You will lead a highly skilled team and be responsible for driving improvements and ensuring high standards within one of the airline’s core operational functions.

The department handles a wide range of responsibilities, including flight planning, aircraft performance calculations, airport analysis, route manuals, EFB systems and applications, operational manuals, regulatory applications, and communication with aviation authorities. In addition, the team oversees operative fuel monitoring, fuel analysis, and fuel management.

With both budget and personnel responsibility, you inspire and engage your team while maintaining a clear strategic direction. You know how to balance long-term objectives with day-to-day execution and always approach your work with a continuous improvement mindset.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven leadership experience with goal/KPI-driven management
• High-level IT proficiency and confidence working with PowerBI and Excel
• Well-documented administrative experience
• Professional-level fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

Additional qualifications that are considered a plus:

• University degree in engineering
• Operations experience, ideally from an airline background
• IT-related background (XML, HTML, CSS)
• Programming skills in Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, PowerBI, .Net, SAS, or SQL

About the Position

• You must pass the Swedish police background check and hold a valid work permit for the EU.
• This is a permanent full-time position, starting with a six-month probationary period. The position is based at our head office in Bromma
