To act as the strategic leader and regulatory Post Holder for Flight Operations, with full accountability for the safety, compliance, and effectiveness of all flight operations. The role is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary department to ensure every flight exceeds regulatory and customer expectations, while strategically managing aircraft projects and upholding the standards of the AOC.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and embed a culture of customer focus and performance management to ensure high quality and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Ensure regular and effective communication with other department(s).
- Ensure that the department’s approach to data protection, security and retention complies with best practice and that policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
- To develop, continuously improve and implement the department’s approach to risk management.
- To maintain a positive, appropriate, and professional relationship with all Royal Jet staff, partners, and members
- Deputising accountable manger leading all post holders and communicate with the authority (GCAA).
- Provide strategic leadership in maintaining and advancing a robust safety framework and culture across flight operations. Champion continuous improvement in aviation safety standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices, ensuring that safety is embedded as a core organizational value and competitive advantage.
- Establishing the necessary conditions with regards to the department, personnel and procedures as required by either the authorities and / or Accountable Manager to ensure operational safety and to attain maximum reliability by making optimal use of the available flight operations personnel resources, facilities, equipment, and material.
- Ensuring that all flights are adequately staffed by crew members, qualified for the intended flight profile, route and aerodrome as required by the regulations and the procedures laid down in the operations manual.
- The development and maintenance of Flight Operations strategies and policies to achieve high standards of Flight Safety, Flight Crew Training, Technical Support, Fleet Operations, Quality and Regulatory Compliance.
- Directing and controlling all flight deck and cabin crew members while on duty.
- Directing and controlling personnel in his jurisdiction on all disciplinary and professional matters.
- Ensuring that all flight operations support performed by RoyalJet contracted flight operational organizations are duly accomplished, with strict adherence to all relevant statutory regulations and requirements.
- Monitoring the quality of services performed by the external companies who are contracted on behalf of the Flight Operations Department.
- Recoding and analysing any deviation from the company standards and ensuring corrective action.
- Evaluating the safety record within Flight Operations in order to avoid the development of undesirable trends.
- Ensuring that all the necessary organizational, personnel and communication prerequisites have been met, so that flight operational procedures run smoothly with good interdepartmental communication.
- The continuous development of flight operational related technologies (methods and procedures).
- Setting and maintaining operating standards of pilots, including approval of all standardization documentations.
- Processing Discretion and Captain’s Reports.
- Oversee the team responsible for managing all Royal Jet flight and crew assets used to support both deployed and internal site requirements. Ensure that all flight and crew resources are mission ready to meet program requirements associated with deployed and international site operations as well as Royal Jet training.
Post Holder Flight Operations is further responsible for:
- Ensure the maintenance of quality and compliance under the post holder ship of Flight Operations covering Flight Operations, Training and Cabin Operations.
- The establishment of the required operational and safety related procedures in the Royal Jet Operational Manual (OM) and keeping the OM updated.
- Defining duties, updating and implementing the Royal Jet objectives and policies.
- Ensuring that the number of flight and/or flight operations support staff are adequate for the nature and the scale of operations. The Operation’s Department staff must have a thorough understanding of their responsibilities within the organization.
- Having the final responsibility for hiring suitably qualified flight and cabin crews in accordance with Royal Jet standards and policies.
- Corresponding with the GCAA on all flight operational matters and recording all correspondence.
- Development, introduction and control of new procedures in line with international standards, requirements and best practices.
- Approval of expenditure related to the Flight Operations budget in accordance with the provisions of the Human Resources Manual and/or any other Manual of Financial authority of the Company.
- Making decision at any time when the commander of the airplane needed an approval to go beyond his authority as a post holder.
- Deputizing CEO and acting in his behalf in all day-to-day activity
- Sign and evaluate GHQ pilot performance to their command
- Training Captain, conduct line training and release check
- Flight Ops Project Manager to all managed aircraft including (B737 and Bombardier)
- Leading revenue various generating initiative and project provided to key governmental entities (IMOC/ GHQ Shuttle Flights)
- Providing support to Flight Operations Support in obtaining Carbon emission data.
- Overseen other AOC / POC Royal Jet Managed aircrafts
- Strategic planning Royal Jet Departmental development
