The successful candidate joins a group of three pilots serving as Pilot-in-Command with responsibility for the safety of passengers and crew and the comfortable, timely operation of the aircraft. They supervise the flight crew and ensure that all flight and ground operations comply with FAA Regulations and Pentastar Aviation’s 91 FOM. The candidate must work as a team member in a crew environment, be safety-oriented, possess strong leadership and CRM skills and embody superior customer service. They are responsible for all aspects of flight planning and decision making regarding possible delays, rerouting or flight cancellations. When not flying, they may perform other general department duties.
As a pilot for Pentastar Aviation, crew members can expect to fly about 250 hours per year. The client generally gives at least 48 hours’ notice prior to trips.
